Battle Broken Guns

The research project for finding structural similarities or anomalities in guns broken amidst a battle.

James Fowler from ECU is researching 18th and 19th century naval guns, which were broken in battle to determine, if there were any similarities in manufacturing techniques or raw materials among the battle broken guns, which would set them apart from the sustainend ones. MAS's Baltic Sea 3D Wrecksite Ontology provides Fowler's research a multitude of specimens in situ. James has now succesfully defended his master's thesis on the subject and it will be published here once released.
